WE ARE GOING TO JAPAN FOR OUR HONEYMOON!

This is something I’ve dreamed about doing my whole life… When Napkin and I would lay around dreaming about the future he would make me swoon by saying that some day he would take me to Tokyo. Well it’s happening!  I am so excited I can’t stand it! We are still deciding on exact dates, but we have narrowed it down to the end of October (ahem, my birthday) or the beginning of November. AHHHHHHHHHHH!

And because we want to celebrate with our friends (anyone who knows me knows that this is a huge deal for me) we decided to get creative. I had toyed with the idea of doing cupcakes instead of a wedding cake simply because I thought it was way cute, we could get a smattering of different flavors (vegan, gluten free, etc… because we love you) and we could also decorate them in a way that says, “Thanks for being at the wedding– look where we’re going!”

Cute, right?! We are talking to Hot Pink Cake Stand and Coastal Cupcakes in Wilmington about catering them… so far Hot Pink Cake Stand has been the most consistent with getting back to us, having good ideas, being generally excited… so we’ll see.
