So a little while ago, I posted a really weird, cryptic post about some big things that have been going on. I was quickly sworn to secrecy after that. But the deal is done now– and despite having to leave out a few details…I can publicly announce it.

For the 2014 season, I have signed on as a vocalist at a theatre out of state.

It’s funny. My blog has had these yearly themes, you know?

2011: Planning a Wedding

2012: Getting Married/Going to Japan

2013: Being Married/Buying a House

2014: Being Long Distance Married/New Job

Those of you who know me in real life will know what theatre I’m talking about… if you don’t, you can get in touch with me and I’ll fill you in. Due to the nature of my contract– I can only give you little bits and pieces of information via ole’ Internet. This is a really, amazing, bittersweet time in my life. I will be leaving my house (my beautiful, brand new to me, home of my dreams) I will be living apart from my husband (which makes me cry every time I say it out loud and also, apparently, when I type it because there I go again).

But it’s also an amazing opportunity to support my family in a way that I couldn’t have dreamed up– and a little bit of stability that I really needed. I also get to be fabulous every night of the week!

There are some amazing pro’s and awful con’s and as things sort of unfold I’ll tell you more about that. But I just wanted to fill you in on the latest chapter of my life… I’ll definitely need some help moving forward.  If you have any questions or are curious about anything– be in touch.
